Adorable Rat Photography Shoot Ideas with My Canon EOS Rebel T5i!

Photography with rats: fun, exhilarating, testing, and difficult. I did get several good ones; definitely a girly flower power stage!

I not only have a passion for rats and writing; I have a passion for photography too! Hence my beautiful little Canon camera, that my wonderful partner got for me for Christmas. He got a pretty sweet deal on Amazon and it wound up being an ENTIRE kit. I was ecstatic; and the first subjects I had to shoot were, you guessed it, rats!!!

This little girl was a superb model, sitting very still and behaving the whole time! I hope to continue to be able to do some amazing rat photo shoots and photography stints throughout the spring and summer. It is a lot of fun when they are not being squirmy.

Rat behaving while taking pictures! Not blurry, not squirming, just sitting still! How? I don't know... but it's amazing how she did!

Yes, I am uploading my photos in full quality, and they are amazingly crisp and sharp. I’ll include the link to my exact camera package too, so that all of you breeders, future breeders, hobbyists, and students can check it out if you are in the market. I highly recommend it, but who doesn’t love a Canon (especially during Christmas hahaha!)?

Oh, and here it is for reference: Canon EOS Rebel T5i 18.0 MP CMOS Digital Camera Digital SLR Camera and DIGIC 5 Imaging with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens + 58mm 2x Professional Lens +High Definition 58mm Wide Angle Lens + Auto Flash + Strong lightweight Tripod + UV Filter Kit With 24GB Complete Deluxe Accessory Bundle

ANYWAYS, Here Are the Photos of The Adorable Champagne Girl!

I decided to put all of them into a video for you, and to put them all in the post as well. The video also has everything listed that you’ll need to do the same shoot. I would vary it a little with the colors and seasons; you could do this with a gorgeous yellow sunflower inspiration too! I just really love the color pink, so of course I dove into all of the pink photo props I could find. Don’t judge me!!!! I am not ashamed of my favorite color! I’m honestly mesmerized by every bright color… whether or not that is a bad thing, I’m unsure of. Oh and you have to select the highest HD option on Youtube for the photos to be clear 🙂

I decided to play around on the canon photo editor program, and check it out! A pretty cool, negative inspired photo of the rat. Now she’s a purple and red rat!
Zoomed out image of the photo set up for my ratty shoot. Taking pictures of rats might usually be difficult, but sometimes you can get lucky and figure out how to keep them calm and quiet. Try some feeding- it'll slow them down hehe!
